This unidentified Gear along with another unnamed Gear escorted Colonel Victor Hoffman and Lieutenant Anya Stroud to Embry Square during the Lightmass Offensive.

Biography

Locust War

Hoffman's guard as he gets shot in the side of the head by a Sniper Drone.

Lightmass Offensive

During the Lightmass Offensive, this unidentified Gear along with another Gear accompanied Victor Hoffman and Anya Stroud aboard KR-239 as their body guards while they made their way to Embry Square to meet up with Delta Squad aboard KR Eight-Zero. After touching down at the square, he along with the other Gear waited for Delta Squad to arrive, waiting by Hoffman's side. Once Delta had arrived, the Gear moved back to protect the Raven as Hoffman informed Lieutenant Minh Young Kim about the Resonator. He stood guard there until Anya stepped out of the Raven. After a few moments unnoticed by anyone, a Sniper Drone using a Longshot Sniper Rifle fired a shot hitting him directly in the side of the head, killing him instantly and splashing blood on Anya as she ducked down trying to find cover.

Behind the scenes

• The two unnamed Gear soldiers that accompanied Hoffman and Anya in the Trial By Fire cutscene in Gears of War: Ultimate Edition never appeared in the original Gears of War.
