The Tyran Steelpike was a species of fish found predominantly in freshwater sources such as rivers, lakes and ravines.
These freshwater fishes, as its name suggests, were commonly found in Tyran, however, they could also be found in the South Islands such as Pahanu.
They are a gamefish and are sort after as a staple food source for humans. South Islanders often consider these fishes as an important part of their aquaculture.[1]
Lahni Kaliso held a family photograph depicting her family catching a Tyran Steelpike via a fishing rod in one of the rivers of Pahanu.[2]
