A Thumper was a large metal rod carried around by a Tremor. They were used to call Seeders up from underground to the surface.

Evacuation of Ilima[]
During the Evacuation of Ilima, several Thumpers were used by a Tremor to call up Seeders in order to ink the sky for the Kryllstorm to arrive. The Tremor smashed the Thumper into the ground with its large hammer dozens of times, sending vibrations to alert the Seeder.
