The Thrashball Drone was a class of Locust multiplayer character for Gears of War 3 that was available to all players for a limited time.[1] Equipped in spiked, red and black Thrashball armor, the Thrashball Drone strode into battle as the opposite of Augustus Cole in his Thrashball years.
The Thrashball Drone is non-canon and does not exist in the story of Gears of War in any shape or form and is only available for online play.
Multiplayer[]
- Thrashball Drone appeared as a limited-time multiplayer character for Gears of War 3 Multiplayer on January 27th right through until February 6th and again on May 25 until May 29, 2012. It was made available once again and is currently unlocked for multiplayer play as of now.[2]
- In Gears of War 3, Thrashball Drone lacks their name and description in the Multiplayer menu. The name also does not appear in multiplayer lobbies.
- Thrashball Drone is also available in Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Multiplayer.
- Thrashball Drone is a playable character in Gears of War 4, available in the Thrashball Gear Pack.
