The Talon Autopistol is a close-range sidearm manufactured by the Coalition of Ordered Governments, designed during the early stages of the Swarm War.
Its unusual reverse-sickle magazine carries an impressive amount of ammunition for such a small pistol. The machine pistol is only effective at close range and only when its hip-firing. The weapon is the COG equivalent of the Locust Gorgon Submachine Gun.
Multiplayer[]
The Talon is the quintessential close-range sidearm. In contrast to the long ranged Boltok Pistol and the medium ranged Snub Pistol, the Talon is only effective at close range. Whilst its extremely high rate of fire makes it dangerous like the Enforcer Submachine Gun, it also burns through ammunition relatively fast.
Moreover, it is highly inaccurate. Aiming is useless unless carefully burst-fired and even hip-firing is difficult. The weapon's execution is the same as the Snub as it offers the player to do a beatdown execution.
Trivia[]
- The Talon appears to chamber a round that has been in use by the Coalition of Ordered Governments since at least the start of the Pendulum Wars, as ammo pickups in the Mount Kadar Laboratory - which has had no COG presence since the start of the Pendulum Wars -replenish the Talon's ammunition supply.
