Name Change[]
This needs a name change got my copy of issue 9 today and the story arc is called Barren. -- Royal Theron 15:06 , 23 July 2009
This comic arc could not possibly take place between gears of war: hollow and Gears of War 2. In issue #4, Baird knows what a Kantus is before he's even seen the one in the area. Thus, it can be proven that this takes place during the events of Gears of War 2, sometime after their first foray into the Inner Hollow. In that event, both Marcus and Dom saw a Kantus for the very first time, and in Barren, it did not phase either of them to see one. -Anonymous
- It takes place before GoW 2, we may have errors in the Comic, like Baird joining the army after E-Day when JREM said he :had the army long as marcus", thats a paraphrase. But maybe only Baird known about the Kantus.--Chairman Jack the Black
16:07, July 17, 2010 (UTC) - Yes, I thought that too, but Dom says "Damn Kantus wont stay still!" Meaning, he knew what they were called. In Gears of War 2, when Dom spots the first one in the game, he says "What are these guys?!" and Marcus replies "I don't know, just shut 'em up!" -Anonymous
