The Serano Lobster is a heavily built and stocky lobster found in the deepest and literal bottom depth of the midnight zone of the Serano Ocean. These crustaceans have evolved to have incredibly thick chitinous armor to withstand the immense pressure at the bottom of the ocean.
Serano Lobsters are bottom feeders and detritivores, foraging for scraps and flesh that has slowly drifted down the bottom of the ocean floor. They are known to scavenge and eat everything that dies in the depth and are one of Serano Ocean's quintessential garbage cleaners.
These lobsters have incredibly large, thick and powerful claws, needed to rip apart decaying flesh and fend off attacking predators.
Taxidermed models of these fishes are found in the aquariums of the Natural History Museum.
