Scree-Mites were a species of black arachnid native to the abandoned wilderness of Tyrus that possessed four legs on either side of their body, two antennae on their head, two eyes, and a scarlet-colored abdomen.[1][2]
The small creatures generated an itching sensation—commonly treated with a medical substance referred to as scree-mite ointment—in the skin of humans that came into contact with them.[1][2] The Outsider settlement in Fort Umson suffered from a scree-mite infestation towards the conclusion of the Interwar Period.[1][2][3]
