Riftworm Village was a community founded by the Outsiders after the Locust War. The Village was built within the skeletal remains of the Riftworm, which was destroyed by Delta-One 1st Frost, 14 A.E. during Operation: Hollow Storm.

On the 1st Frost, 14 A.E., the awakened Riftworm was killed by Delta Squad during Operation: Hollow Storm. As it died, it burst from underground and its corpse crashed to the ground on the surface. Its remains were left decaying where it died after Delta departed for the New Hope Research Facility.[1]
