The Ostri front was a theatre of the Pendulum Wars that saw trench-warfare between the Gears of the COG and the Indies of the UIR. The campaign was thirty years before the Siege of Anvil Gate. Cpt. Ranald Sander compared his quarters to the trenches of the Ostri front, with the smell of canvas, wool, charts and maps taking up every space on the walls.[1]
