The Union of Independent Republics had a force of large, nuclear-tipped, ballistic missiles housed within missile silos and bunkers during the Pendulum Wars.[1]
The Ostri Republic had major facilities such as Aspho Point, which housed multiple silos of these nuclear weapons to be launched when given the command.[2] Some were hidden in discreet bunkers[3].
History[]
Pendulum Wars[]
During the Battle of Aspho Fields, Dominic Santiago and Victor Hoffman led a team of commandos to steal the Hammer of Dawn plans in Operation: Leveler. As the UIR scientists behind the Hammer of Dawn were kept inside Aspho Point, a raid was successfully conducted to abduct these scientists.
During the raid, a nuclear missile was seen being prepared by the Indies.[4] However, the Ostri Republic was unable to launch.[5]
Functionality[]
These nuclear missiles were exceptionally large weapons that rivaled the rockets from both the UIR and COG in size.
These missiles were powered by some kind of liquid-fueled rocket engines, as shown during the Battle of Aspho Fields; with coolant seen exhausted out from the missiles[6].
