Myrrah's father was an Imulsion miner during the early years of the Pendulum Wars and the father of Myrrah, Queen of the Locust Horde. He contracted Rustlung due to overexposure to Imulsion fumes, which then caused his daughter to develop a unique genetic reaction to Imulsion when he conceived Myrrah. He later died of complications from Rustlung, and his daughter was relocated to the New Hope Research Facility for treatment.

Biography

Early life

Nothing is known about Myrrah's father, except he was born and raised in Tyrus before 79 B.E. during the Golden Age.

Pendulum Wars

In 79 B.E., Tyrus, under the Coalition of Ordered Governments, initiated the Pendulum Wars against the Union of Independent Republics for control over Imulsion. Myrrah's father, in adulthood, became an Imulsion miner in an unknown colony. At some point, he and the other miners became afflicted with a respiratory disease called Rustlung, caused by overexposure to Imulsion fumes. Living in an Imulsion township, he later met a woman and the two had a daughter, Myrrah.

As they raised Myrrah, the children of the other diseased miners also began to exhibit symptoms of Rustlung, as well as noticeable birth defects. Myrrah contracted Rustlung, but her symptoms were not as severe as the other children. Possibly due to Imulsion exposure while in-utero, Myrrah had a unique genetic reaction to Imulsion. Her cells benefitted from Imulsion exposure such as an increased immune system and decelerated aging by 50% that of a normal child.

Death

Around 50 B.E., Myrrah's father died from Rustlung.

Legacy

Myrrah, along with the other children from the mining colony, was taken to the New Hope Research Facility in secret to study the progress of Rustlung and develop a cure. It was later found that Myrrah had a genetic immunity to Imulsion's ill-effects. Her embryonic stem cells were used in the creation of the Locust. Myrrah became their Queen and led them into a genocidal war with humanity, nearly causing the extinction of the human race.
