Biography[]
Pendulum Wars[]
In the 75th year of the Pendulum Wars, Mrs. Ross was serving as the housekeeper of the Fenix Estate. As she was leaving one night, Professor Adam Fenix arrived home from work. She asked him if he needed anything before she left, but Adam told her he was fine, and that he would make himself a sandwich later, and bid her goodnight.[1]
Locust War[]
- "Thank you. You've always been very good to me and my family, sir."
- —Mrs. Ross, to Adam Fenix
Ten years after Emergence Day, at the end of Reap,[2] Mrs. Ross was still serving as the housekeeper of the Fenix Estate. She was in the kitchen when Adam came home one day, with Adam not expecting her to be staying back this late. Mrs. Ross told Adam that she didn't want him to have to cook for himself, and added that Lt. Stroud had called in to say that his son, Marcus, would be late getting back from an extra patrol. Adam was glad to be kept updated on Marcus' movements, and wondered why she hadn't left yet, especially with her grandson being on leave. She stated that she had her professional pride, and revealed prepared ingredients of a meal for Adam and Marcus, including steak. She then offered to stay and cook, to which he replied that she should go home to her family. Adam then gave her the steak and a couple of bottles of Ostrini wine. Mrs. Ross thanked him, saying that he'd always been good to her and her family. He said that she'd stood by him and his family during some tough times, and ordered a car around for her so she wouldn't have to take public transport home.[3]
