The Ministry of Defense was a government department of the restored Coalition of Ordered Governments that oversaw the military matters.
History[]
During a broadcast of First Minister Mina Jinn's speech marking the 25th anniversary of the end of the Locust War in 42 A.E., the CNC news network's ticker feed mentioned that the sitting Defense Minister had stated that the "raiding threat" had been "eliminated".[1]
Later that year, an issue of The Sovereign Courant reported that the Ministry of Defense was coordinating the Evacuation of Settlement 2 as a "precautionary relocation". First Minister Mina Jinn originally ordered it due to Settlement 2's proximity to a Locust burial site, but that site was quickly confirmed to be an active Hive when the Swarm overran the city while the evacuation was still ongoing.[2]
