The Mataki Farm was a large farm and property built on the shores of Galangi in the South Islands. It was the home of the Mataki family, namely Bernadette Mataki and her brother, Michael Mataki, until the two had a falling out over control of the farm while Bernie was off fighting in the Pendulum Wars. When Bernie returned from the war, she and her husband continued to work the farm until they divorced and Bernie left to head back to the COG and Ephyra and the 26th Royal Tyran Infantry during the Locust War. After the end of the Locust War in 17 A.E., Bernadette returned to the Mataki Farm with her partner, Colonel Victor Hoffman. Hoffman and Mataki lived in peace during the Interwar Period. Twenty-five years after the end of the Locust War, Colonel Victor Hoffman recruited Doctor Hana Cole to construct the Hivebuster Offensive during the Swarm Invasion.

Following the end of the Locust War, Bernadette Mataki returned to her home island with Victor Hoffman. The estate was fitted with the latest COG technology, including DeeBees, from DB Industries, as servants. Victor Hoffman and Bernadette Mataki lived peacefully in their estate on Galangi.
