The map Diner is set inside a Major Burger restaurant.
Major Burger was a large fast food chain that became popular throughout the Coalition of Ordered Governments. Hundreds if not thousands of Major Burger restaurants and diners was constructed during the Pendulum Wars.
The main mascot was Major Burger, a stylized colonel-looking Gear in a chef apron that was one part COG propaganda and one part conglomerate business promotion.
During the Locust War and after the Hammer of Dawn Strikes, this fast food empire along with many of the COG's private conglomerates imploded with the collapse of the Coalition Dollar. The remains of these restaurants was left to rot in the ensuing wastelands.
