KR Two-Four was a King Raven unit in the Coalition of Ordered Governments Air Corps that took part in the Lightmass Offensive.

History

KR Two-Four is shot down outside the Tomb of the Unknowns.

Lightmass Offensive

"Delta, this is Two-Four. Repeat, please. Are you with Alpha? Is P.Z. clear? Running low on fuel, over."

Fourteen years after Emergence Day, during the Lightmass Offensive, KR Two-Four was tasked with extracting Delta and Alpha squads once the Resonator was secured. Due to radio interference from Seeders, Two-Four's pilot managed a garbled communication with Delta in which he requested a status update and informed the squad of his Raven's low fuel. Lt. Minh Young Kim quickly relayed that they had not linked up yet, and to stand by. After Delta rendezvoused with Alpha outside of the Tomb of the Unknowns and cleared the area of Locust and Nemacyst, Two-Four came in to pick them up, but was shot down by newly arrived Nemacyst. Two-Four then slammed into the streets below in a raging fireball, cutting off Lieutenant Kim from both Delta and Alpha squads, resulting in his death at the hands of General RAAM while the survivors retreated into the Tomb.

• Unidentified Male Pilot: This pilot was killed during the Lightmass Offensive when KR Two-Four was shot down by Nemacyst.

Behind the scenes

• The pilot of KR Two-Four was voiced by Jamie Alcroft.
• In Gears of War, the King Raven that gets shot down during the cutscene displays the number '080' on its tail instead of '24' as it should be.
  • This was not corrected in the Ultimate Edition; it now has the number '80' on its tail which is also an error since KR Eight-Zero is a completely different Raven.
