Jim Kilikano was a farmer on Galangi. He had a dairy herd, and traded cheese, milk, and duck to Bernie and Neal Mataki in exchange for steak and mutton.

Farming His Land[]
A week after Emergence Day, Kilikano was farming his land, unconcerned about the Locust attacks on the rest of Sera. As he drove his tractor across his field hauling feed for his animals, he saw Bernadette Mataki driving along the road to Port Slaughterhouse. Kilikano waved at her, and she waved back.[1]
