"You're all grown up now!"
—Mr. Tak admiring his son, Jasi.

Jasi Tak's father was the son of Bai Tak. He and his family journeyed from Pesang with the help of Padrick Salton to Anvil Gate.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Jasi Tak's father was born in Pesang sometime during the Pendulum Wars to Bai and Harua Tak. He also had an uncle on his father's side, Seng Tak. His father, Bai, joined the Coalition of Ordered Governments Army during the Siege of Anvil Gate while his mother stayed behind and tended the farm.

Pendulum Wars[]

During Tak's childhood, Bai was part of the Battle of Aspho Fields. During the battle, his father died sacrificing himself and drowned. Following the battle, which was victorious for the Coalition of Ordered Governments - the COG denied awarding his father with an Embry Star due to xenophobic tensions. His comrade, Colonel Victor Hoffman, however, sent Tak's mother his own Embry Star along with a modest bank check to help their farm.

Locust War[]

Two years after his father's death, the Pendulum Wars ended in COG victory. However, six weeks later - a subterranean race of creatures called the Locust Horde emerged from the Hollow to begin a genocidal war against humanity. Tak and his family survived the initial onslaught, Emergence Day, as well the Hammer of Dawn Strikes the following year.

At some point during the Locust War, Tak met a woman and married. Later, they gave birth to a son named Jasi. Tak, his wife, and Jasi continued to live with his mother Harua, his uncle Seng, and his other relatives on the farm during the war with the Locust Horde. Living with them as well was an old comrade of Bai's, Private Padrick Salton.

Lambent Invasion[]

By 15 A.E., the world was ravaged by another threat known as the Lambent, mutated forms of life infected by Imulsion, causing a pandemic. There were rumors that the COG had collapsed, and that a large remnant of the COG had relocated to Anvil Gate led by Col. Hoffman. Pvt. Salton and Harua led the Pesenga people and Tak's family to Anvegad, Kashkur. Col. Hoffman was surprised to learn of Bai's family's survival, and was happy to let them live in the fort.

During the winter, he was shoveling snow inside Anvil Gate, along with Col. Hoffman, when Jasi returned with Sgt. Bernadette Mataki and a goat he bagged during their hunt. Tak then took the goat from Sgt. Mataki and went inside with Jasi to teach him how to prepare it.

Current Fate[]

Tak's fate is currently unknown. Anvil Gate was later attacked twice by the Locust Horde and Lambent in Bloom, 17 A.E. The fortress suffered heavy damage and causalities. However, the battles were on the eve of Victory Day, as the Imulsion Countermeasure Weapon was deployed and neutralized the Lambent and Locust Horde. Jasi was able to survive and later joined the COG army in 42 A.E.
