Hondo ran Aaron Griffin's Imulsion supply factory in Char sixteen years after Emergence Day. Griffin became annoyed with Hondo when his last batch of Imulsion wasn't a high enough blend, and sent a note to him demanding that he get it right or he would kick his ass. Hondo was either killed or turned into a Lambent Human along with the rest of the staff at the refinery.
