The Harvest was a Fishing Boat based out of Pelruan.

History

Sinking

While out fishing, the captain of the Harvest reported that they were on a collision course with another boat, and lost contact with the rest of the trawler convoy. The other fishing boats and the Coalition of Ordered Governments then began to search for it, suspecting it had been attacked by Stranded. The Fairhaven discovered fenders and floats from the Harvest, and reported the location. The CNV Chancellor, CNV Clement, and KR Six-Seven joined the fishing boats in searching, and discovered part of the hull of the Harvest, damaged by gunfire. The Chancellor then returned to Vectes Naval Base, but several others stayed out to try to find survivors, but none were found.

Investigation

Following the sinking of two other ships, Damon Baird and Jace Stratton investigated the Harvest's wreckage and realized that the shots that had damaged the boat came from inside, meaning that they were fired by the crew, not Stranded. In a later incident, another trawler, accompanied by Delta-One hauled up a Lambent Rock Eel. It was subsequently realized that the Harvest's crew likely hauled up a Lambent creature, shot it and the boat was destroyed in the explosion.
