"FOR QUEEN, FOR TRINITY, FOR HORDE."
—Gurst's Locust Tag

Krav Gurst (Locust Tag 284-598)[1] was a Captain of the Locust Army. Given orders by Ketor Skorge, he was charged with a Blight to defend Nexus from the Coalition of Ordered Governments Army during the Assault on Mount Kadar in Operation: Hollow Storm.

Biography[]

Locust War[]

Operation: Hollow Storm[]

Ketor Skorge successfully managed to sink the cities of Tollen and Montevado with the Riftworm in order to weaken the Jacinto Plateau and sink Jacinto City so that the surrounding seawater would drown the Lambent while also denying humans their last safe stronghold. However, the Coalition of Ordered Governments were aware of the Locust Horde's plans and launched a counterattack known as Operation: Hollow Storm. By launching Gears into Grindlifts - they were able to infiltrate the Inner Hollow and invade the Locust Horde.

The COG assaulted Landown and launched from there, but miscalculated and launched upon a Locust army base and tunnel city rather than the true Locust capital. Ketor Skorge was then able to sink the city of Ilima, but the Riftworm's identity was discovered by the humans and was later destroyed by the COG. After declassifying the New Hope Research Facility, the COG was finally able to locate the Locust stronghold within Mount Kadar due discovering Dr. Niles Samson's intel files.

Assault on Mount Kadar[]

"The humans seek to tunnel to Nexus. They threaten our Queen. Krav Gurst, unleash your blight upon any who near Kadar. Leave none alive. For the Hode."
—Ketor Skorge's orders to Krav Gusrt.

Approaching Mount Kadar for a second wave on 2nd Frost, 14 A.E., Ketor Skorge anticipated for the humans to attempt to launch upon Nexus. Ketor Skorge sent Krav Gurst orders on a scroll of human flesh to prepare to fight against the COG and prevent them from reaching Nexus by leading a Blight of Locust. Thousands of Gears arrived on Assault Derricks to launch into Nexus. Despite the COG receiving causalities, they were successful in launching into Nexus.

Death[]

Krav Gurst and his Blight were killed in action trying to prevent the humans from launching into Nexus. His body remained in the Kadar Valley for decades, and his Locust Emblem was later recovered in Frost, 42 A.E. by Cpl. Kait Diaz.
