The Golden Hunter is a variation of the Locust Hunter that is available for Gears of War 3 multiplayer. Adorned with the golden shoulderpad of a Hunter Elite but with a golden Hunter helmet, the Golden Hunter is unlocked after achieving the golden Master-at-Arms Medal, which requires the player to kill two-thousand enemies on Versus with the Gnasher Shotgun, Hammerburst II, Lancer, Retro Lancer, and Sawed-Off Shotgun each.

Presumably, the Golden Hunter is non-canon and does not exist in Gears of War's story.

• Golden Hunter is a playable character in Gears of War 3 Multiplayer after getting the Gold Master-at-Arms-Medal. (Get 2,000 Kills with all 5 Starting Weapons)
