A Goat is small to medium sized herbivorous hoof animal that could be found both in the wild and in domesticated farms. They are used by humans for fur, milk and a food source in Sera, although they are not as common as either a Cattle, a Pig or a Chicken. This maybe due to their meat (mutton) giving off a strong aroma and taste.

Goats are bovines and are related to the much larger Cattle. Although some breed of goats may surpass a 100kg, they usually hover around 20-25kg and are usually fast and nimble animals. The males have horns and they are used to compete with other males for mating rights as well as a defensive weapon against predators.

Despite being herbivorous, goats are known to eat materials not meant for animal or human consumption such as cardboard, paper and even clothing.

History

Refuge in Anvil Gate

After the evacuation of the island of Vectes due to invading Lambent forces, Victor Hoffman and his entourage of Gears and refugees took shelter in Anvil Gate.

After settling down and welcoming back the Pesanga people, Bernie took Jasi under her wing to teach him how to hunt. Jasi managed to score his first kill of a goat with his Hunting Rifle and paraded it back to Anvil Gate for more goat stew, much to Hoffman's dismay.
