Background[]
First Ministers were chosen from and approved by the ministers of the COG's government ministries,[1] and worked at Government House in New Ephyra.
In a sense, the political power they wield was less than that of a Chairman in peace time, owing to the much reduced stature of the reconstituted COG. However, in times of crisis, it is possible that they are given emergency powers like the Chairmans before them.
