- The Blood Moon Swarm Imago is one of the three characters to be exclusively for developers the others being The Coalition Soldier for Gears of War 4 and the Epic Reaper for Gears of War: Judgment.
- In Gears 5, the skin was offered to all players as an apology for resetting ranks.
