DB Industries, also referred to as DBi, was a manufacturing and construction company founded by Damon Baird after the end of the Locust War.

History

DB Industries was responsible for producing many of the mechs and other autonomous machines that the reconstituted Coalition of Ordered Governments relied on to rebuild and defend its citizens. DB Industries was at the forefront of the construction of New Ephyra, which was a tremendous feat of engineering given that its chosen site was the geologically unstable Jacinto Plateau, along with the Settlements and the Windwalls.

The company's most well-known products include the DeeBees, which were originally designed for construction work. At some point the DeeBees were repurposed to fill security and combat roles, at the behest of the COG's First Minister Mina Jinn, which their creator Damon Baird had not originally intended.
