Cats were small feline animals native to Sera. Bernadette Mataki was known to use cats for clothing, such as fur boots.[1]
They were often used as pets, like Dogs, and had their place in human society of getting rid of pests. However, in desperate times, they are hunted down like any other animals.

- Although no cats were seen in the game nor comics, the fur from Bernie's armor maybe the fur of the cats she hunted.
