The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.
The COG Machine Gun is a large, single-barrelled medium machine gun used by the Coalition of Ordered Governments. It is a lighter and far more simpler weapon to maintain in contrast to the Chain Gun and Mulcher.
These weapons are often used as a secondary pintle-mounted weapon for the King Raven, Armadillo and the Packhorse, or on the back of a pick-up truck to act as a mobile suppressive weapon. Despite this, they have a lower rate of fire compared to its multi-chambered cousins due to only possessing one barrel.

Ambush at the Kashkur-Vasgar Border[]
After dealing with some hostile Stranded and completing a trade mission, Padrick Salton, Dizzy Wallin and Nathan was ambushed by gunfire from the hills of the border. Nathan returned fire with his COG Machine Gun as he suspected the gunfire was from the disgruntled Stranded.[1]
However, after a night raid on a Stranded encampment, Bernadette Mataki and her dog Mac discovered that the source of the gunfire were actually scouting Locust parties, alerting Victor Hoffman to fortify Anvil Gate.[2]
Behind the Scenes[]
- It is unknown where the Machine Gun stores its large amount of ammunition, given there is no presence of a large internal ammo bay nor an external magazine.
