The island of Branascu during the last days of the Pendulum Wars.

Branascu was an island that the remnants of the Republic of Gorasnaya moved to sometime after Emergence Day. When Commander Miran Trescu made a deal to join the Coalition of Ordered Governments on Vectes, the Gorasni navy evacuated Branascu and brought the population to Vectes.

History

Pendulum Wars

During the Pendulum Wars, General Egar Trescu, the father of Miran Trescu, defended the island from a superior COG force that attacked the island. General Trescu was able to defend the island while vastly outnumbered, and became a legend about the Gorasni people.

Last refuge of the Gorasni

When Vectes fell to the Lambent Pandemic, Trescu brought his people back to Branascu. However, he stayed in contact with his allies that formerly comprised the COG, aside from Chairman Richard Prescott, who secretly evacuated with his Onyx bodyguards to Azura.
