The Battle on the Andius Highway was a battle that occurred during a Locust offensive against the Coalition of Ordered Governments in early Rise of 13 A.E. It resulted in the loss of control over the Andius Highway and paved the way for further Locust assaults.

Order of Battle

Emergence and Distraction

When the Coalition of Ordered Governments detected a group of Locust tunneling near the Andius Highway, they dispatched three Centaur tanks, two Armadillos and a King Raven to destroy the emerging Locust. When a Corpser created a huge Emergence Hole near the highway, the COG forces opened fire on the creature and the dozens of Drones that came pouring out of the Emergence Hole. The Corpser was cut down by the Centaurs and the Drones continued to pour out into overwhelming fire. However, the Emergence Hole was just a distraction to allow a large force of Drones to flank the COG forces along a nearby bridge. Caught between the two groups of Locust, the COG forces were forced to retreat, but managed to avoid taking any casualties.
