The Assault on the Temple of the Trinity was a major battle during the Lambent War, staged by Vold RAAM in order to convince Queen Myrrah to destroy the humans and colonize the surface to escape the Lambent. The attack occurred at the Temple of the Trinity - as Vold Karn was involved with Vold RAAM's coup against Uzil Sraak and purposefully abandoned the Expansion Hollow, leading the Lambent to reach the Inner Hollow. Former Acolyte, Skorge, also involved with the coup, was sent to Ketor Vrol to help convince him of the futility of the Lambent War, based on his prophetic visions. Ketor Vrol initially refused, but then agreed when the Lambent managed to reach the Temple. Vold RAAM then led the defense with the Bloodied Vanguard by having Boomers launch into the Lambent, destroying them. The Temple was then secured and Ketor Vrol advocated for Vold RAAM to the Locust Council. The battle was the deciding factor for Queen Myrrah to begin another war on the surface to destroy the human race, colonize the surface, and escape the Lambent from below.
